I’m Alison Dawn Scott, an evolutionary biologist who prefers plants, polyploids, and especially trees. At the moment, I work as a postdoc with Polina Novikova in Chromosome Biology at the Max Planck Institute of Plant Breeding Research. Prior to this position I was a postdoc at UC Davis on the Redwood Genome Project, and earned my Ph.D. in Botany at UW-Madison.
